The farmhouse

Hortus is a farmhouse located in Todi, certified “5 sunflowers” (top level), immersed in an olive grove that aims to offer a unique experience, directly connecting our guests to nature and its simple flavors. Our strategic position ensures that our guests can quickly and easily reach all the unmissable tourist destinations.

The philosophy of hospitality that we naturally pursue is to offer what we would love to receive, to pamper guests as we ourselves would love to be pampered, making them experience the relaxation and serenity that we aspire to find when we travel.

The farmhouse, which is the result of an expertise level renovation that has salvaged the

materials and respected the original volumes of the structure, features the charm of a pleasant and unexpected contrast between the taste of tradition in the outdoors and refined modernity in the interior décor.

The centre of the property accommodates the reception, a bar in the lobby and a restaurant with wide panoramic terraces. The anctique tobacco dryer now houses nine garden-level rooms, almost all hosting a private patio, each one being airy and equipped with every comfort.

For our guests ample free parking available.

Guests will be able to enjoy meals outdoors, toast a special event on our terraces or in the intimacy of their room’s private patio, enjoy a picnic among the olive trees or challenge each other to exciting tournaments of foosball or ping pong in the outdoor play area.

Upon reservation, e-bikes are available so you can discover the surroundings through the enchanting off-road paths of the Martani hills.

Thanks to agreements with various partners, excursions and guided tours can be organized, as well as stargazing from our garden with astronomy experts.

Respect for the environment is manifested in the use of renewable energy sources, the design of new buildings and the renovation of old ones aimed at the highest level of energy efficiency, the collection of rainwater and the recovery of graywater for non-potable domestic uses, the recovery of black water with phyto-purification systems, and the use of recycled materials for product packaging are among the most important activities that Hortus is committed to.
